A HEART OF SERVICE · STRONG’S GREEK 1401δοῦλος · Doulos
The ancient Greek word doulos means servant, bondservant, or slave. Its historical use includes both involuntary and voluntary service; in Christian writing, it also describes devotion to God. The related feminine form, doulē, is part of the linguistic history behind today’s word “doula.”
For SonShine, willing service is our spiritual application: showing up with humility, love, and a wholehearted commitment to support you. Your dignity, choices, and voice remain at the center.
